Zveibil Brandão
It's
in a charming studio at Clinton Ave., in Toronto, close
to trendy Italian restaurants and bars that Celia feels
comfortable in experimenting forms, colours, textures, and
new materials for her ceramic pieces.
Talent,
creativity, and hard work are the basic ingredients that
brings success to her work which has already given her important
design prizes. She'd won the best design with the piece
"Brazilian Expresso Set" at Fireworks 2003. Previously,
she'd won the Biennal Juried Exhibition - Toronto Potters,
with the piece "Tea Pot". In addition to her studio's
activities, Celia also teaches classes at the Miles Nadal
Jewish Community Centre in Toronto.
Celia Zveibil says: "I feel lucky to able to be part
of a great pottery community like this one that we have
in Canada"
